ZUŠ Open at the Wallenstein Garden – May 31, 2025
The 9th Edition of the ZUŠ Open Festival Concluded with a Showcase at the Wallenstein Garden of the Senate of the Parliament of the Czech Republic – May 31, 2025.
On Saturday, May 31, the ninth edition of the ZUŠ Open festival culminated in a vibrant showcase held at the Wallenstein Garden of the Senate of the Parliament of the Czech Republic.
More than 800 students from 50 elementary art schools performed across two stages. Musical and vocal performances filled the main stage in the Sala terrena, while dancers took over the black stage in front of it. Visitors also had the opportunity to participate in creative art workshops.
The highlight of the day was a festive concert conducted by Jan Kučera, featuring soprano Irena Pohl Houkalová and pianist Ivo Kahánek. Not even the rainy weather could dampen the exceptional atmosphere of the event.
