Clarinet Factory Masterclass — Four Days, Four Workshops, Two Grand Stages
The Magdalena Kožená Endowment Fund, in collaboration with the renowned ensemble Clarinet Factory, organized an intensive four-day masterclass for young clarinetists, culminating in two open-air concerts — on May 12 in front of the Rudolfinum as part of the opening of the Prague Spring Festival, and on May 14 at Karlín Square to launch the ZUŠ OPEN festival.
During the morning workshops, participants focused on classical music, technique, improvisation, and electronics. In the afternoons, they rehearsed together as the Clarinet Factory Orchestra.
